About the Team and Role: 

We are seeking a highly motivated leader to join G2G as Engineering Director. In this role, you will report to G2G’s CTO and work with cross-functional teams in product, design, and strategy leaders to expand and grow G2G’s core products. You should be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, able to think through complex challenges, and able to align cross-functional teams effectively to launch products. Knowledge and experience in building online marketplaces and bitcoin mining are value-adds for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Execution of software product development lifecycles and deliverables
  • Manage software development projects by setting requirements, goals, and timelines 
  • Responsible for leading a team of engineers to define and evolve the architecture and underlying system design to build and scale the G2G mining marketplace 
  • Define and execute engineering-wide initiatives and process improvements that drive efficiency and quality 
  • Provide hands-on technical management and guidance including system, design, and code reviews 
  • Act as a resource across G2G to increase cohesion for strategic plans

Qualifications:

  • Computer Science academic background, MBA preferred

About the Team and Role:

We are seeking a talented video and audio engineer/producer to join G2G’ growing content cache. The position is for an associate-level full-time employee or contractor and will report to G2G’ Multimedia Director The ideal candidate will help to expand our audience reach, develop new products, and produce current video and audio content. The candidate should be able to turn around products at a quick pace, give feedback on product quality and work with a growing content team to address the increasing media market G2G serves. 

This position is located in Austin, Texas, or the applicant must be willing to relocate. 

Responsibilities:

  • Create A/V content for general consumption, particularly on Youtube and podcasting platforms.
  • Oversee and execute internal and external A/V projects
  • Maintain a timely schedule for multimedia edits
  • Grow and monitor G2G’ Youtube and podcasting accounts
  • Provide relevant feedback on A/V products in pre-and post-production

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years podcast production experience. 
  • Experience organizing and executing A/V content packages
  • Knowledge and experience with A/V software such as Zencastr, Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, or other
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar video editing software preferred

About the Team and Role: 

We are seeking a team player to join G2G Mining as our Tech Support Engineer. In this role, the Tech Support Engineer will support enterprise security and the dev/ops teams in order to automate security gates to keep the DevOps workflow from slowing down. The ideal candidate will work within cross-functional teams and apply diverse technical skillsets to support successful performance across operations and projects.

Responsibilities: 

  • Determine risk tolerance
  • Conduct a risk/benefit analysis
  • Generate and maintain programmatic and technical documentation 
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in DevSecOps best practices as well as point of contact with in-depth knowledge of dev and security roles and teams
  • Manage requests and track to ensure follow-up and completion 
  • Follow up promptly on direction, action items, questions, documentation, etc.
  • Increase system performance with a focus on high availability and scalability 
  • Streamline access issues and processes to increase automation, scalability, and reliability

About the Team and Role 

We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Site Development to join our team to help us develop, analyze, and execute site development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of how to identify and develop prospective sites to ensure the best use of time, company funds, and resources. This candidate will support ongoing priorities while being able to assess site opportunities and risks by analyzing geographical location, specific prospective site information, and other key factors for site development. The Director of Site Development will be tenacious, results-driven, and an excellent project manager. The prospective candidate will also have a good understanding of G2G Mining, our products/services, and bitcoin to be able to advise others about them. This candidate will report to our Chief Mining Officer.

Responsibilities 

  • Support the site inquiry and diligence process to vet prospective sites and oversee partnership securements.
  • Assess site risks and opportunities by compiling and/or analyzing geographical location and specific prospective site information.
  • An ability to communicate effectively, develop relationships with internal stakeholders and partners to execute plans that effectively address the needs of the G2G markets while supporting the aggressive growth agenda.
  • Develop scalable, efficient processes to improve communication for site development.
  • Ability to professionally represent the company at required events
  • Prepare and present ground lease and/or property purchase proposals to property owners selling the mutual benefits of a business relationship, and gauge the motivation of the owners.
  • Negotiate lease contracts with various entities, securing entitlements through zoning and permitting processes while overseeing the pre-construction due diligence process.
  • Communicate expectations to vendors and contractors for deliverable due dates, budgetary targets and/or site-specific details.
  • Project Management of new sites and expansion of existing sites with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and drive implementation of site development initiatives.
  • Proven success and ability to drive, lead and communicate change effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be willing to travel to prospective and current sites as needed.

Qualifications
